Awareness resources
We work to raise awareness about the dangers of Christian nationalism among Christians as well as non-Christians, showing the world what is and is not part of a life committed to following Jesus. Here are some resources on what Christian nationalism is, including long-form written pieces, webinars, and even discussion guides to use for self-reflection or to lead others in a conversation. We also have resources dedicated to local organizing. A page of advocacy resources is coming soon!
This is a collection of resources we have created and those created by others. Do you want to suggest something else we should add? Contact us.
We have a separate page dedicated to understanding what Christian nationalism is and how it shows up. Here are some specific resources on this topic, grouped by category:

This question could be referring to many things. The Constitution is clear that the country wasn’t founded for Christians or to prefer Christians. The U.S. Constitution created a system of government open to people of any faith – Article VI prohibits any religious test for public office.
Sometimes when people say the United States is a “Christian nation,” they are referring to demographics. Most surveys find around 70% of the American population identify with Christianity, so it can be accurate to say that we are a majority-Christian nation. The numbers decrease when surveys go deeper to ask questions about frequency of engaging in Christian practices, such as prayer, Bible study or attending corporate worship services.
